On Saturday night, November 26, we did our first Christmas party of the year.
The P.T.A of a famous school were holding their annual Black Tie
Christmas Ball. Heriot was called upon to provide a spectacular
dinner in their newly refurbished school grounds.
- For starters they settled down to Roasted Mediterranean Vegetable and Goat’s Cheese Tart.
- To follow was the Traditional Christmas Dinner with all the trimmings.
- Dessert was our classic (and silver served) Apple & Rhubarb Crumble.

Was it a Success?
Well judging by the e-mail received Monday morning from Alyson on the organising committee, I’d say so.
“The food was excellent and the whole evening went well. Thank you for all the effort you all put in. Everyone had a wonderful evening”
The first Christmas dinner we catered this year, and definitely not the last!
